We work to support local communities and rural businesses in the Greensand Ridge area to become more competitive and sustainable. Through our strategy, we have succeeded in securing £3 million from the European Union/ United Kingdom Rural Development Programme for England. Over the next five years, 2009-13, we will invest £2.4 million of this fund in local farm, forestry and other rural business and community enterprise projects in the Greensand Ridge area.
